Information
⭐Join us for our LAST meeting of the 2025-2026 year!
🌅Our June monthly meeting will be our last event for the 2025-2026 year! We look forward to seeing everyone.
👂Have you heard? There are many summer activities and camp offerings in or around Caswell County - and some of them are free! During our meeting, we will share information about local programs and resources. If you know of camps, classes, or activities that may benefit homeschool families, please bring information to share with the group.
🆘Our special guest will be Family Solutions & Support Services, a behavioral health agency based in Durham that serves residents of Caswell County. Homeschool families are not immune to the ups and downs of life. Join us to learn about the services available through FSSS and how they can walk alongside individuals and families during difficult seasons.
👩🏽👧🏽👦🏽A Few Special Announcements Regarding Children at the Monthly Meeting:
- 🧵The library is offering a three week quilting series for participants ages 8 and older on Tuesday mornings in June. The first quilting session will occur during our monthly meeting on June 16th. If your child is registered for the quilting class and is able to participate independently, you are welcome to attend the monthly meeting while they attend the class. Registration for the quilting class is required - stop by the front desk at the library.
- 📍The quilting class will take place in the large meeting room. The CCH Monthly Meeting will take place in the Teen Room.
- 📖Please note that no organized children's activities will be provided during the monthly meeting. We kindly ask that children who are not participating in the quilting class and are not yet able to read or study independently remain with their parent or guardian in the Teen Room.
🏡Our monthly meetings are open to the public. If you are homeschooling, interested in homeschooling or looking to support homeschool families, we hope you can join us!
📆Why Doesn't CCH Schedule Events in July?
➡️Each July, our Board of Directors gathers for the Annual CCH Leadership Conference. During this time, the current Board reviews the past year, updates policies, evaluates organizational and financial health, and prepares a budget for the upcoming year. The incoming Board then begins planning for the new year, including developing the activities calendar, participating in team-building exercises, and receiving training on CCH policies, nonprofit governance, and best practices for ensuring the safety and well-being of our children and families.
💗If you see a board member, please take a moment to share a word of encouragement and appreciation for their service.
Special conditions
