OUR MISSION & VISION:

Caswell County Homeschoolers, Inc. (CCH) strives to create a supportive community for homeschool families, and those interested in homeschooling, in Caswell County and surrounding areas. Our vision is to instill a love of learning in homeschool families by providing collective learning opportunities through community engagement.
 

WHO CAN SUBMIT A NOMINATION?

We are accepting nominations for the 2026-2027 CCH Board of Directors. Only active CCH members (routinely attend two CCH in-person events per month) may submit nominations. Nominations should be submitted to the Nominations and Elections Committee on this form. Nominations must be submitted on this form by midnight on Friday, May 8, 2026. Extended to midnight on Tuesday, 5/12/2026.


WHO CAN BE NOMINATED?

Please consider the following requirements as you make your nominations.

According to the CCH By-laws, a member of the CCH Board of Directors must: 
(1) be an active member for 9 out of the 12 months proceeding the date of nomination
(2) be in agreement with the CCH mission, vision and core values
(3) not hold a leadership position for another organization that constitutes a conflict of interest as determined by the CCH Board of Directors
(4) pass a criminal history background check* as administered by the Policy and Records committee

*CCH covers the cost of the background check. Background checks will be administered after the candidates are chosen (all nominees will not undergo background checks - only those selected to the board).

Before submitting your nomination, please review the following documents: 

(1) CCH By-laws
(2) CCH BOD Descriptions

You are not required to submit a name in each position. Please list each person for only ONE position. You may nominate yourself.

TIMELINE:

  • May 4-8: Nominations Open
  • May 8-18: CCH Nominations & Elections Committee review nominees, conduct interviews, select candidates
  • May 19: CCH Nominations & Elections Director presents candidates to CCH Board of Directors for Approval
  • July (TBD): CCH Board of Directors Leadership Conference

  • All nominees I submitted are active CCH members (to the best of my knowledge).
  • Each nominee has agreed to be nominated for the given position.
  • Each nominee agrees to submit to a criminal background check performed by the Policy and Records Committee IF elected to the board.
  • Each nominee is listed in only one position (Please do not list the same person in multiple positions).
